Terms and Conditions - Refer A Senior Promotion
1. Introduction
The “Refer a Senior who is 100 Years or Older Promotion” (“Promotion”) is offered by My Guardian. Under this Promotion, an Eligible Referrer will receive a $100 AUD gift card as a thank you for their referral. This Promotion applies exclusively to individuals who successfully refer someone who is 100 years or older, regardless of whether the referred person is a current, past, or future client of My Guardian.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Eligible Referrer
To be an Eligible Referrer, an individual must:
- Refer an individual who is 100 years or older (“Eligible Referred Person”) in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
- Provide accurate and complete contact information along with the referral submission.
2.2 Eligible Referred Person
An Eligible Referred Person must:
- Be 100 years or older at the time of the referral.
- Reside in Australia at the time of referral.
- Provide documentary proof of age, which includes:
- A copy of their official birth certificate (mandatory).
- If applicable, a marriage certificate (if their name has changed due to marriage).
- One government-issued ID for additional verification, such as:
- Passport
- Driver’s License
- Medicare Card
- Seniors Card
- Pensioner Concession Card
- Consent to have their details and age verified by My Guardian.
The Eligible Referred Person does not need to be, or become, a client of the Company.
3. Successful Referral Criteria
A referral is deemed “Successful” when:
- The Eligible Referred Person submits their details via the designated website or Customer Care channel within the Promotion Period.
- The required documents (birth certificate, marriage certificate if applicable, and government-issued ID) are submitted and verified.
- The referral submission includes the Eligible Referrer’s name and contact details with proper consent to share such information.
- My Guardian accepts and verifies the referral based on the eligibility criteria.
4. Gift Card Issuance and Delivery
- Upon a Successful Referral, the Eligible Referrer will receive a $100 AUD gift card.
- Gift cards will be issued after the referral has been verified and confirmed.
- The gift cards will be issued by My Guardian and delivered via post.
- Gift cards will be loaded with $100 AUD once delivery is confirmed.
- Each gift card is valid for 12 months, as printed on the card. Expired gift cards will not be replaced.
5. Referral Limits and Ineligibility
- There is no limit to the number of referrals an Eligible Referrer can make.
- Only referrals that meet all criteria outlined in Section 3 are eligible for the Promotion.
- If multiple Eligible Referrers refer the same Eligible Referred Person, only the first referral submission (based on date and time stamp) will qualify for the Promotion.
- Informal referrals or referrals not made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions will not qualify for a gift card.
6.Promotion Period and Modifications
- This Promotion is valid until 30th June 2025 (“Promotion Period”).
- My Guardian reserves the right to modify or withdraw the Promotion at any time without prior notice.
- Acceptance of any referral is subject to verification, availability, and suitability at My Guardian’s sole discretion.
7. General Conditions
By participating in this Promotion, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- My Guardian is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or misdirected gift cards and will not replace such cards.
- All promotional offers are subject to verification and compliance with the criteria outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
- In the event of any dispute, the decision of My Guardian will be final and binding.
