The Sydney Disability Expo 2024 may be over, but the connections we made and the stories we heard continue to inspire us. Held on 2nd and 3rd August at Sydney Olympic Park, this year’s event brought together thousands of people from across the disability community — and My Guardian was proud to be there.

As a trusted disability care service provider, our goal at the Expo was simple, to connect with individuals, families, and support coordinators, and to offer genuine guidance around the disability services we provide.
From the moment the doors opened, our team was busy engaging with attendees who were seeking clarity, support, or simply someone who would listen. Whether you were navigating your first NDIS plan, looking for daily living support, or exploring housing options, we were honoured to be part of your journey.
My Guardian Involvement
Visitors to our booth got to learn more about how My Guardian supports NDIS participants through:
- Personalised disability care services tailored to individual goals
- Supported Independent Living (SIL) options
- Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
- Assistance with community access, daily living, and skill-building
- Coordination and guidance to help you get the most from your NDIS plan
We also spoke with many support coordinators and professionals looking for reliable, people-first providers. If you were one of them — thank you for stopping by. It was a pleasure to share how we work in partnership to achieve the best outcomes for participants.
One of the best things about the Sydney Disability Expo is the sense of belonging it creates. Being surrounded by passionate individuals, families, and service providers reminded us of the strength and spirit of this community. We were proud to stand alongside so many others dedicated to creating more inclusive, empowered futures for people with disabilities.
Event Recap
The 2025 NSW Seniors Festival Expo was a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the contributions of older Australians. My Guardian was proud to be a part of the event, offering advice and guidance to seniors and their families about the range of services we provide, including home care and NDIS support.
Key Moments:
- My Guardian Presentations: Our team presented expert guidance on home care services, helping attendees learn more about how to access the care they need. We were featured on the main stage during the event, with sessions on both days.
- Special Offers: My Guardian also offered up to $2,000 worth of free services for Home Care Package recipients across all levels, reinforcing our commitment to supporting the health and well-being of seniors in our community.
