Heart to Heart Seminar | August 2026
Event Overview
My Guardian Founder and CEO, Jad Haber, was invited to join leading vascular researchers at the Heart Research Institute’s latest Heart to Heart seminar, exploring the science and real world experiences behind healthy ageing.
The event brought together Associate Professor Jacob Qi, Professor Jennifer Gamble and Jad Haber for a conversation about vascular ageing, cardiovascular health, brain health and what we can do to support healthier ageing.
Jad shared insights from his experience supporting thousands of people across aged and disability care, highlighting the importance of looking at ageing holistically. Cardiovascular health, mobility, frailty, mental wellbeing and social connection all play an important role in helping people maintain their quality of life.
A key focus of Jad’s discussion was the importance of moving beyond traditional care and towards prevention. By recognising risks early, supporting social connection and helping people stay active and engaged, we can play a greater role in helping people age well.
