As life settles after the holiday season, Mother’s Day offers a chance to pause, reflect, and see how Mum is really doing. Has she slowed down a little? Is she finding it harder to manage daily tasks or keep up around the home?
These signs can be easy to overlook, but they might mean she’s ready for a little extra help at home.
This Mother’s Day, My Guardian is offering up to $2,000 worth of free Home Care Services to mums seeking quality, compassionate support. T&C’s apply.
#TellMumNow and find out if she’s ready for home care assistance or just a helping hand around the house.
There’s a common misconception that turning to an external provider for support means the end of an independent way of life for a loved one, whereas in fact the very opposite is true. Even just a little bit of extra help throughout the week can do wonders for Mum’s independence, confidence and wellbeing. We find that it’s often the people who are initially the most reluctant to accept extra support who end up most appreciating the benefits it offers
All of our assistants are trained to provide discreet, sensitive support with personal routines such as bathing, dressing, toileting and continence.
If Mum is struggling to find the time or energy to stay on top of the housework, we can help out around the house with just about anything.
Your mother’s assistant will be able to help her get into and out of bed and move around the home, as well as assisting with physio exercises.
All of our team members are selectively recruited for their kind, compassionate personalities, and make for truly wonderful companions.
From collecting it on your behalf to helping you administer it, our assistants are expertly trained to help you with your medication management.
We offer professional clinical care at home, including nursing support, medication management, wound care, and health monitoring—delivered with compassion and expertise.
With one-to-one personal attention, from 30 minutes a week and up to several visits a day, a visiting support plan will be completely built around your mother’s needs. We can even arrange to have a live-in assistant living with her at home to provide 24-hour support.

Our assistants can visit your mother at home as little or often as she needs - whether that’s a couple of times per week, or several times per day.

Live-in support will see one of our fantastic assistants come to live with Mum in her home to provide round-the-clock support and companionship.

We provide personalised support to help individuals live safely and independently at home—covering daily tasks, companionship, transport, and community access.
Call our team of experts to talk through Mum's options and pose any questions you may have.
Our local Case Manager will visit Mum to discuss her requirements and learn about the type of care she's after.
We’ll help to pair her with an assistant who meets her preferences and has the right skills and experience
If you have questions about our services or simply want to chat with our team, we’re more than happy to help.
We’re ready to assist with any questions or concerns you have about our services.
One of our support team members will be in touch quicker than you can say ‘help’.
